Privacy and Data Handling
Peri-op meds is designed for medication planning without patient identifiers. Do not enter names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, addresses, or other identifiable patient information.
What the public tools process
- Medication searches and planning settings are used to generate local browser results and planner outputs.
- The public planner is intended to work without patient identifiers or patient records.
- Your preferences and anonymous usage counts are stored only in this browser's local storage on your device; they are not transmitted to us.
- Hosting providers may process standard technical logs such as request path, timestamp, browser metadata, and IP address for reliability and security.
- Email links open in your mail client; anything you send by email is handled by your email provider and the recipient mailbox.
- When you submit an enquiry form, your name, email address, organisation, organisation type, and any message are sent through Resend to our contact inbox so we can respond. Do not include patient information in enquiries.
Institution profiles
Institution profile access codes unlock hosted medication guideline sets, reviewed medication preferences, and custom-branded defaults for a service. They are shared service credentials rather than individual user accounts, should be kept within the service, and must not contain patient-specific information.
